New! Another Label Spacing Fail (on older versions of Power BI)

Happy Thursday everyone!

This week we’re learning about another Label Spacing Fail that Power BI has (last week was about one with Line Charts) but this one, on Bar Charts, has recently been fixed.

If you have a version of Power BI Desktop from 2024, you’re golden… but if you have a version of it from 2023 or before, certain label positioning makes bar chart labels look awful. I know because I’ve been designing around this fail since 2018.
