Welcome to this week’s “What’s New” post. These posts are also on HowToUsePowerBI.com and let you know what’s new on the site.
One free post this week continues our Bar Chart series. We already have a How to build a Bar Chart post, and now we have a new How to format a Bar Chart post that teaches you the essentials of formatting a bar chart so you’re not stuck with Power BI’s bad defaults.
The other free post this week is all about the new “New Report” User Interface that seems to have rolled out over the weekend with the February 2024 version of Power BI Desktop. Microsoft has added some extra things we have to click just to start a new report.
Wonderful. (no, it’s not wonderful)
There’s also a new paid post about the DAX CALCULATE function. It’s extremely powerful.
