New! How Power BI fails at label spacing (and how to fix it)
Happy Thursday everyone!
This week we’re exploring one of Power BI’s fails (or.. if we want to be more positive, something where there is room for improvement) in chart formatting.
As smart as Power BI is, it still can’t tell when a label on a data point needs a bit more room to not look awful. It’s really disappointing that a 9-year old program still gets basic Data Visualization user experience things wrong, but here we are.

Next week we’ll explore another fail that Microsoft has recently FIXED (so they CAN fix them… I like to think that me nagging Microsoft employees helped with this).
The issue is that this fix is fairly recent, so if you have an older version of Power BI Desktop, you may still be having issues.
